The Erin's Precious Pigs' American Himalayan line is our oldest and most challenging line.  However, my love for the variety has kept the line going strong.  The line began in 1999 with James and Tigerlily.  Our foundation stock originated from Anngela Strathman of Indiana, and Debbie Mercer of Michigan.  However, over the years I have crossed in other himalayans from The Cavy Castle of Maryland and from Jim Hupp, as well as American blacks from Pucker Up Pigs of Michigan.  In 2001 I crossed in a line of American Satin Himalayans, but due to some problems, I have completely gone back to my original line.
